About This Tool
Watermark Studio is a browser-based workspace for adding text and logo watermarks to images. A text watermark can be styled with font, color, weight, opacity, rotation and a subtle shadow, while a logo watermark keeps its original proportions and can be resized to suit the image. Use one of nine quick positions, drag a single watermark directly across the preview, or switch on repeating mode when you want coverage across the full image. The export keeps the source dimensions and gives you a choice of JPG, PNG or WebP with an adjustable quality setting for formats that use lossy compression. The original image is never changed.
How to Use
- Choose the image you want to watermark or drag it into the upload area.
- Select Text Watermark or Logo Watermark. For a logo, choose the logo file you want to place on the image.
- Adjust size, opacity, rotation, edge padding and the text styling options when relevant.
- Choose one of the nine quick positions, or drag a single watermark directly on the preview. Turn on repeating mode for a tiled watermark.
- Choose an output format and quality, then click Download Watermarked Image. A confirmation appears when the download starts.
Example
Upload a product photo, enter your brand name as the text watermark, lower the opacity to around 50%, and place it in the bottom-right corner. If the image is going out as a proof, switch on repeating mode to spread the mark across the full photo before exporting a WebP copy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use a logo instead of text?
Yes. Switch to Logo Watermark and choose a PNG, WebP, JPG or browser-supported SVG image. The logo keeps its original aspect ratio while you resize it.
Can I move the watermark by hand?
Yes. With repeating mode turned off, drag directly on the image preview to place the watermark where you want it. Undo Position restores the previous location.
What does repeating watermark do?
It tiles the watermark across the image, which is useful for proofs, previews and images where a single corner mark would be easy to crop away.
Does exporting resize my original image?
No. The export canvas uses the source image dimensions. The watermark size is calculated relative to the image width.
Why might JPG or WebP look slightly different from the source?
Those formats can use lossy compression, so the selected quality setting can change file size and fine image detail. PNG uses lossless image encoding.
Are my image and logo uploaded?
No. The source image, watermark logo, rendering and export stay in your browser.
