About This Tool
Profile Picture Maker combines automatic portrait cutout with hands-on profile image editing. After processing a portrait directly in your browser, you can drag the subject around the preview, use the mouse wheel or slider to zoom, fine-tune horizontal and vertical position, control safe padding, rotate the subject, add an outline or shadow, choose circle, rounded or square framing, and set a transparent, white or custom-color background. Multiple square canvas sizes make it useful for professional profiles, creator accounts, team directories, community avatars and other profile images.
How to Use
- Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP portrait.
- Choose the canvas size, profile shape and background style.
- Click Create Profile Picture to separate the subject from the original background.
- Drag the subject directly in the preview to reposition it. Use the mouse wheel or Zoom slider to change its size.
- Fine-tune position, padding, rotation, outline and shadow, then download or copy the PNG.

Can I move the person directly in the preview?
Yes. After the portrait is processed, drag the subject directly on the preview canvas to reposition it. The horizontal and vertical controls update with the movement.

Yes. Use the Zoom slider or the mouse wheel over the preview to zoom the subject in or out.
What profile picture shapes are available?
You can preview the image as a Circle, Rounded or Square profile picture.
Can I add an outline or shadow?
Yes. Adjust the subject outline width and choose no shadow, a soft shadow or a stronger shadow.
Can I use a transparent or custom background?
Yes. Choose Transparent, White or Color. Custom colors can be set with the color picker, HEX field or quick presets.
What export sizes are available?
